About LandMark Engineering

LandMark Engineering and Land Planning, Inc. is a design-build/consulting engineering firm that provides engineering services to the State of Florida and Alabama. For over 20 years, LandMark has completed more than 400 residential and commercial projects annually. Our firm is also involved in both designing and managing several construction projects each year. Our chief engineer, Mark W. Spitznagel, is a dedicated Christian family man who believes that being committed to his word is more important than any profit or gain.

Specialization

Our company specializes in the area of residential and commercial building plans that includes Civil (site planning and stormwater design and management plan), MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and Structural Engineering.

Design

LandMark incorporates AutoCAD and Chief Architect in 3-D modeling. Since we are also a licensed General Contractor, our construction department routinely has the opportunity to evaluate our engineering to ensure that we balance cutting edge designs with value in construction.

LandMark Engineering also utilizes the latest advancements on structural commercial sign designs such as pole signs, monument signs, awnings, and billboard frames based on windload and structural analysis. We incorporate computer modeling programs and other proprietary design aids we have developed during our firm's 13 years of experience.

Codes and Standards

All of our work conforms to the most current codes and standards. The decades of combined construction experience of our project managers and construction consultants ensure that each project will be handled professionally. For years, our staff has been a proud member of

  • American Concrete Institute (ACI)
  • Institue of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
  • American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)
